Director, Product Experience Design

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Director of Product Experience Design to lead the evolution of its enterprise product onboarding strategy. You will shape intuitive, consistent onboarding journeys across a portfolio of digital payment products, collaborating with product, engineering and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver user experiences for onboarding capabilities across platforms such as Settings, SCM, ODT and Product Express.
• Create user flows, interaction models, wireframes and prototypes that simplify complex workflows.
• Partner with product managers, TPMs and engineers to translate requirements into actionable design artifacts.
• Extend and apply existing design patterns and frameworks to ensure consistency across products.
• Incorporate user research, usability testing and feedback to continuously improve usability and accessibility.
• Participate in design reviews and governance to maintain high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing digital user experiences for products or platforms.
• Strong ability to communicate design decisions and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Human‑centered design mindset with a focus on reducing friction and enhancing adoption.
• Experience applying design systems, patterns and scalable solutions.
