Director, Product & CX - Home Services

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Director of Product & CX for its Home Services business in Pennant Park. You will lead a team of Product Managers and Product Management leaders who define and execute the digital roadmap for the B2C Home Services experience and supporting platforms. The role covers product strategy and operating model, and calls for leveraging emerging technologies such as multimodal AI, agentic AI, image processing, NLP and 3D spatial tools. It reports to the Senior Director Services and typically involves overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver a multi-year product roadmap covering customer experience, lead generation, visualization and workforce coordination, and build high-performing teams with AI-first product management practices.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, business partners and merchants, and optimize time-to-value with AI and automation.
• Present to executive leadership and anchor product decisions in financial analysis, unit economics and margin expansion.
• Prototype and stress-test technical concepts against near-term business ROI, and solve friction points across customer, provider and field workforce touchpoints.
• Guide adoption of Human-in-the-Loop workflows and AI-assisted execution, and evaluate multimodal capabilities combining image processing, NLP and 3D spatial data.
• Help teams build dynamic automated API generation and other AI-enabled tools.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of progressive leadership experience in Product Management, Product Design or Digital Operations, including leading a team of Product Managers and software roadmaps.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Legal permission to work in the United States; must be 18 or older.
• Preferred: experience in B2C home services, marketplace platforms or physical operations, and a track record of guiding cross-functional teams on enterprise integration, multimodal document parsing or spatial data.

Required skills

• Generative AI, Data Science paradigms, Multimodal RAG and Agentic architectures.
• Image processing and NLP fusion, and prompt-driven API generation.
• Hands-on use of modern AI tooling (e.g. Claude, Cursor).
• Financial acumen: ROI frameworks, cost-benefit analysis and unit economics.
