Director, Private Credit

About the role

Everest Global Services is seeking a Director of Private Credit to join its Alternative Investments team. The role partners with the Head of Private Credit to oversee a global private credit portfolio, covering direct lending, asset‑backed finance, infrastructure debt and other credit strategies. The position is hybrid, based in the New York/Warren, NJ area or Bermuda.

Key responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and due‑diligence of private credit investments, managers, funds and structured opportunities across North America, Europe and other markets.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of credit metrics, collateral performance, covenant structures and downside loss scenarios.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
• Monitor existing investments, manager performance and portfolio exposures, performing stress‑testing and scenario analysis.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization, diversification and capital‑efficient deployment.
• Maintain and develop relationships with current and prospective private credit managers, providing market intelligence.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in private credit, investment banking or asset management with strong investment judgment.
• Proven analytical capabilities and ability to evaluate complex credit structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and travel as needed.
