About the role
The Director – PPD Key Account Manager leads the end‑to‑end lifecycle of a high‑volume strategic brand within L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division. Reporting to the Vice‑President of Commercial Strategy and Account Management, the role is based in New York with a hybrid work model and partners closely with SalonCentric to drive brand vision, market positioning, and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Define and present a comprehensive strategic vision for a $100M+ brand to senior executives and cross‑functional partners.
- Lead brand launches, major growth initiatives, and deep market/trend analyses.
- Develop and own sales forecasts, budgets, and weekly sales projections to achieve profit and revenue targets.
- Manage shopper investment, portfolio optimization, and promotional strategy.
- Collaborate with SalonCentric and internal teams to create and execute merchandising and go‑to‑market plans.
- Build and mentor a high‑performing team of contributors.
Required profile
- Executive presence with strong strategic negotiation abilities.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale brands (>$100M) in the beauty or consumer goods sector.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer insights, and salon‑centric distribution.
- Ability to influence senior leaders, General Managers, and brand presidents.
- Track record of delivering significant growth, market leadership, and profit maximization.
