About the role
The Director of Sales West will lead the sales organization for West Madison Foods across the western United States. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales – Grocery, this remote position focuses on driving growth, managing budgets, and building strong customer and broker relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to exceed regional targets.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with key customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage the sales budget, keeping activities within financial limits.
- Create and oversee sales plans, forecasts, targets, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with broker partners to maximize sales opportunities.
- Lead presentations and negotiations with major accounts.
- Work cross‑functionally with marketing, finance, and supply planning to align initiatives.
- Track performance using sales reporting tools and the TPM system, providing insights for profitable growth.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8‑10 years of sales experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- 3‑5 years of leadership experience within sales.
- Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
