Director of Quality (Multi‑Division Organization)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Quality to lead quality strategy and execution across three diverse divisions of our family‑owned, multi‑division manufacturing company. This high‑visibility position partners directly with senior leadership to shape scalable quality systems that support long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a unified quality strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and grow quality teams in each division, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive supplier development initiatives and ensure supplier performance meets quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Manage internal and external corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
• Standardize quality systems, processes, and metrics across all sites.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and executive teams to embed quality into strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive quality experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success leading multi‑site or multi‑division quality programs, preferably in metal manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, continuous‑improvement tools, and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborative leadership style grounded in respect, transparency, and trust.
