Director of Production & Supply Chain

About the role

The Director of Production & Supply Chain leads the end‑to‑end production lifecycle, from final design handoff through factory manufacturing, compliance, international logistics, and receipt into the United States. This senior role owns the production critical path, ensuring cross‑functional alignment between Design, Product Development, overseas partners, and Logistics to deliver collections on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the production calendar and critical path for all collections.
• Partner with the China Production team to monitor factory progress, capacity, schedules, and shipment readiness.
• Identify production risks early and implement mitigation plans.
• Conduct weekly production status meetings and report progress to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with Design to ensure tech packs, specifications, artwork, trims, color approvals, and documentation are delivered on schedule.
• Serve as the central communication point between U.S. teams and overseas manufacturing partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas factories, monitoring performance, quality, lead times, and delivery commitments.
• Oversee international production flow, partnering with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Manage U.S. product compliance, including fabric testing, laboratory testing, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and optimize production and supply‑chain processes for greater efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end production and supply‑chain operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work with overseas factories and manufacturing partners.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. product compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent cross‑functional leadership and communication skills.
