Director of Operations

About the role

We are conducting a confidential search for a Director of Operations to lead multiple restaurant locations for a well‑established hospitality organization that is expanding into new markets. Based in Dallas, TX, the role requires relocation and offers the chance to shape growth while preserving the company’s culture and high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for several full‑service restaurant locations, ensuring operational excellence and strong financial results.
• Develop, mentor and build a pipeline of General Managers and other operational leaders.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, growth planning and organizational development.
• Support new restaurant openings, market expansions and integration of new concepts.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities for increased profitability, efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Champion talent development, succession planning and leadership training programs.
• Maintain consistency in execution while respecting the unique identity of each concept.
• Collaborate with Culinary, HR, Finance, Marketing and Development teams to achieve company objectives.
• Serve as a visible ambassador for the organization’s culture, values and commitment to hospitality.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of multi‑unit leadership experience at the Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations or equivalent senior level within a high‑volume, full‑service restaurant organization.
• Proven track record of leading multiple locations while developing high‑performing General Managers and operational leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance across a portfolio, including labor management and cost control.
