About the role
The Director of Operations will lead and manage the Arkansas Food Innovation Center located at the Market Center of the Ozarks. Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President for Agriculture‑Research, the role oversees daily operations of a 45,000 sq ft facility that opened in May 2025.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational management for the Arkansas Food Innovation Center.
- Oversee facility operations, budgeting, staffing, and compliance with university and grant requirements.
- Coordinate with research, extension, and university partners to support food innovation initiatives.
- Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and ensure the center’s resources are effectively utilized.
