About the role

Tarleton State University invites applications for the Director of Fort Worth Operations & Support within its Division of External Operations. The role provides senior leadership for the university’s Fort Worth campuses, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, effective event coordination, and strong support for students, faculty, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for daily operational needs of the Fort Worth Chisholm Trail and Texas A&M‑Fort Worth locations.
• Coordinate campus services across scheduling, facilities, food & beverage, parking, safety, IT, and library resources.
• Manage office and workspace assignments, onboarding/off‑boarding processes, and access controls for faculty and staff.
• Lead planning, logistics, and execution of university and external events held at Fort Worth facilities.
• Supervise a student operations team, including graduate assistants and student workers, handling recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Identify operational needs, forecast requirements, and advise the Vice President and Dean on resource planning.
