Director of Financial Reporting

About the role

The Director of Financial Reporting will lead the monthly close process, prepare financial statements, and drive variance analysis for a fast‑growing consumer‑brand portfolio. This high‑impact, newly created position partners across finance, operations, and senior leadership to ensure accurate, timely reporting and support both domestic and international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee consolidation of financial data across multiple entities, including revenue streams, brands, and departments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Draft all required financial statement disclosures.
• Support the Controller during the annual audit, coordinating with the external accounting firm.
• Lead the creation of management reporting packages and quarterly board presentations.
• Develop and implement reporting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Handle ad‑hoc reporting requests from brand teams and senior stakeholders.
• Research accounting standards, prepare memos, and communicate impacts of new ASUs.
• Manage the onboarding and reporting integration of new acquisitions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working across finance and operational teams.
