Director of Editorial & Communications

About the role

The Texas-Israel Alliance seeks a seasoned communications professional to lead its editorial and communications engine. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will shape narratives that inform decision‑makers, attract funders, and showcase the Alliance’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full editorial calendar, from concept to publication.
• Write, edit, and strategise high‑impact stories for diverse audiences in Texas and Israel.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align content with organisational goals.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance quality while maintaining a human‑centred approach.
• Develop and maintain a consistent voice for the Executive Director and the Alliance.

Required profile

• 6–10+ years of experience in editorial, business or technology journalism, or executive communications.
• Exceptional English writing and editing skills with strong business instincts.
• Experience working with senior executives and government‑related organisations.
• Ability to translate conversations and rough ideas into polished, compelling content.
