About the role
The Director of Development for the Donaghey College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (DCSTEM) leads front‑line fundraising efforts for the University. Reporting to the Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, this role drives donor engagement and supports the Centennial Fundraising Campaign.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, cultivate, and steward high‑value current and prospective donors.
- Manage a portfolio of donors, ensuring regular personal visits and consistent gift production.
- Collaborate with university leadership to align fundraising strategies with institutional priorities.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and institutional policies.
- Track and report on fundraising metrics and campaign progress.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in program management, recruiting, sales/fundraising, or related business functions.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with donors and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
