Director of Alumni Engagement

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeks a visionary Director of Alumni Engagement to lead relationship building with over 150,000 alumni. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Alumni and Development, you will shape and execute a strategic plan that deepens lifelong connections between former students and the university.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative alumni engagement programs that reach graduates across Arkansas and the nation.
• Identify emerging markets and cultivate volunteer leaders to expand the alumni network.
• Build strategic partnerships that enhance alumni involvement and support university initiatives.
• Expand engagement beyond traditional events by meeting alumni where they live, work, and lead.
• Oversee the execution of the alumni engagement strategic plan and measure its impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in alumni relations, fundraising, or higher‑education engagement.
• Strong leadership and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
