Director, Commercial Management

About the role

Kendra Scott is seeking a Director of Commercial Management to join its Planning organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Planning & Allocation, this senior leader will drive data‑informed commercial decisions across product activations, launches, loyalty initiatives, promotions, and key business projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate promotional and commercial strategies across retail, wholesale, and e‑commerce channels.
• Partner with Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, and Planning to quantify trade‑offs and align creative ambition with financial and inventory goals.
• Build best‑case, base‑case, and worst‑case scenarios to support commercial decisions, assessing revenue, margin, demand, and inventory impacts.
• Communicate risks, opportunities, and sensitivities of each scenario to leadership.
• Serve as a cross‑functional connector, ensuring shared understanding of commercial assumptions and early alignment on initiatives.
• Proactively surface dependencies and trade‑offs before execution and act as a trusted thought partner.
• Develop consistent methodologies for measuring promotional performance and track results against objectives.
• Identify trends in customer behavior and translate insights into future commercial strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial planning, promotions, or related finance/marketing roles within a retail or consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build and interpret scenario models.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Collaborative approach with a track record of influencing cross‑functional teams.
