Director, Brand & Corporate Communications

About the role

The Director of Brand & Corporate Communications will define, amplify, and deliver CloudZero’s brand strategy across customers, prospects, press, analysts and employees. This builder‑type leader will own the voice and reputation of the AI ROI Company as it scales from category creator to leader.

Key responsibilities

• Own and shape CloudZero’s brand narrative as the AI ROI Company, ensuring consistent messaging across press, product, sales and social channels.
• Build executive visibility through media opportunities, speaking engagements, by‑line articles and analyst relationships.
• Lead PR and analyst strategy, positioning CloudZero as the definitive voice on AI ROI, cost attribution and AI unit economics, and manage major announcements such as product launches and funding milestones.
• Develop category‑defining content, partner with product, growth and sales teams to embed the narrative throughout the customer journey, and stay ahead of market conversations.
• Design and scale the Brand & Corporate Communications function, defining team structure, hiring and integrating AI‑first tools to accelerate research, drafting and creative production.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in brand, corporate communications or PR, preferably in B2B SaaS, cloud or AI.
• Proven ability to use AI tools for research, design, writing and testing, with a clear point of view on their impact.
• Strong creative instincts and the capacity to judge both narrative and visual quality.
• Track record of building and leading high‑performing teams.
• Exceptional narrative skills to translate complex technical concepts into memorable language.
• Experience creating executive visibility programs, including media training, speaking pipelines and analyst relations.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, emerging category and a bias for action.
