About the role
We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all residents.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Address medical and behavioral needs, ensuring appropriate care and support.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a State of Oregon background check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Clean driving record.
