Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part‑Time

About the role

Circle Haven, a non‑profit serving adults with disabilities in South Jersey, seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide care for a client in Cherry Hill. This part‑time position offers 10‑13 hours per week, primarily evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, ambulation, and health‑related tasks.
• Document services, case notes, daily activities, and behavioral assessments.
• Promote independence in nutrition, cooking, finance, community participation, and social skills.
• Transport individuals to community outings or appointments as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience working with individuals who have physical limitations, including use of lifts and transfers.
• Strong written and visual communication abilities.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, reach, and walk for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and proof of car insurance.
