Direct Procurement Manager

About the role

Radiant, a startup developing portable nuclear microreactors, is looking for a proactive and strategic Direct Procurement Manager. You will lead sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of components, materials, and services essential for its innovative micro‑reactor systems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, capacity, and strategic fit.
• Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contract terms.
• Develop, review, and manage supplier agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, and PO terms.
• Oversee the full purchase order lifecycle from requisition to closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Analyze market trends and total cost of ownership to drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Assess and mitigate commercial and supply‑chain risks.

• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Experience sourcing within regulated industries.
• Ability to collaborate with Supplier Development Engineers, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams.
