About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for its Hatfield, PA Service Center. The role involves day‑to‑day equipment maintenance, including preventative work and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers and possibly forklifts.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Repair Class 8 trucks, trailers, lift gates, dollies, overhead doors and welding tasks as needed.
- Maintain and service forklifts and other fleet equipment.
Required profile
- 2+ years experience in diesel engine maintenance and repairs.
- Experience with AC and electrical systems.
- Ability to lift 50 lb and possess personal tools.
- Familiarity with Cummins and Detroit engines, Cetaris work‑order software, and trailer preventative maintenance.

- Hourly pay ranging from $34.11 to $42.93.
- Full‑time schedule, 2nd/3rd shift, Monday‑Friday.
