Diagnostic Radiology Technologist (PRN) – IMSL Bone Density

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to support its IMSL Bone Density program. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides essential imaging services to patients while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology examinations, with a focus on bone density imaging using IMSL equipment.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the exam.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Document imaging studies accurately and transmit results to the appropriate clinical teams.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards.

Required profile

• Current licensure as a Radiology Technologist (or equivalent certification).
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed for PRN coverage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols.
