Developer Relations - Go to Market

About the role

Chromatic is looking for a Developer Relations professional to bridge the gap between its product and the developer community. You will create technical content and programs that showcase how Chromatic/Storybook solves frontend delivery challenges, and work closely with the go‑to‑market team to turn that interest into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Create developer‑facing content such as articles, guides, webinars, talks, videos, case studies, landing pages and demos that support the lead pipeline.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to embed the developer voice in campaigns and ensure technical accuracy.
• Run programs (webinars, workshops, live streams) that bring developers into the funnel and nurture them toward adoption.
• Collect field feedback, distill developer pain points and feed them to GTM, Sales and Product teams.
• Proactively identify opportunities to equip GTM with developer narratives rather than waiting for direction.

Required profile

• 5+ years building modern web UIs (JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar) and experience in a developer‑marketing or advocacy role.
• Strong portfolio of technical communication – articles, talks, tutorials or videos.
• Excellent communication skills for both developer and business audiences.
• Proven success collaborating with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success on developer‑facing campaigns.
• Ability to build trust with developer communities and a business‑mindset paired with a developer heart.
