About the role

The Georgia Youth Challenge Program seeks a Deputy Director to support the operation of its Fort Stewart campus. This senior leadership position works closely with the Director to ensure the program delivers education, character development, and life‑coping skills to at‑risk youth aged 16‑18.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director as Executive Officer/Chief of Staff for the Fort Stewart campus.
• Supervise program areas including Education, Counseling, Post‑Residential services, and IT through subordinate supervisors.
• Implement plans and policies directed by senior leadership.
• Oversee administrative matters and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with military volunteers to provide a high‑quality educational experience for cadets.

Required profile

• Significant, honorable military leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to mentoring and role‑modeling for youth.
