Deployment Strategist – Army Programs

About the role

Shift5 is looking for a Deployment Strategist focused on Army programs to bridge customer needs with our data‑driven OT platform. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior military and technical stakeholders, translating warfighter requirements into actionable deployment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Army operators, maintainers, cybersecurity personnel, and program leadership.
• Identify use cases, document challenges, and propose how Shift5’s platform can deliver measurable value.
• Collaborate with Sales, Field Engineering, Product, and Program Management to ensure successful deployments and long‑term adoption.
• Lead customer‑facing demonstrations and operational engagements.
• Serve as the primary conduit for feedback between customers and internal teams.
• Support rapid issue resolution in fast‑paced mission environments.
• Travel domestically up to 40‑50% for deployments, demos, and customer meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience engaging with defense or government customers, especially Army stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of operational technology, cybersecurity, and predictive maintenance concepts.
• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to senior military leadership.
• U.S. citizenship required for federal contract compliance.
