Demand Planning Specialist

About the role

As a Demand Planning Specialist you will optimize demand forecasts to improve end‑to‑end supply chain performance. You will use strong analytical abilities and business intelligence reporting tools to generate accurate forecasts, analyze trends, and drive performance improvements aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales, shipments, promotions and market trends to produce accurate demand forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
• Evaluate forecast accuracy, bias and value‑add, diagnose performance gaps and support root‑cause analysis.
• Support integrated planning routines by preparing insights, maintaining inputs and contributing to cross‑functional planning discussions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to explain forecast drivers, resolve planning questions and support decision‑making.
• Audit and refine reports and dashboards to strengthen forecast quality tracking and surface demand risks.
• Identify and document process improvement opportunities, develop training materials and implement standards to enhance planning efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of demand planning or supply chain analytics experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience as outlined.
• Proven experience in data analysis and integrated business planning.
