About the role

The Law Offices of John Phebus, PLLC is seeking a meticulous Demand Paralegal to manage the post‑treatment settlement stage for personal injury cases. You will own the process from pre‑demand through demand drafting, negotiation, lien resolution, and handoff to litigation when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare polished demand packages that follow firm SOPs and require minimal attorney revision.
• Review medical records, bills, liens, treatment histories, and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters to achieve stronger settlement outcomes.
• Verify case details, update files, and ensure smooth transition of files between departments.
• Utilize AI drafting tools as a support aid while maintaining independent judgment.

Required profile

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently without micromanagement.
• Strong written English and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Professional persistence and ability to build productive relationships with adjusters and medical providers.
• Comfortable handling full case files from start to settlement handoff.
