About the role

Infosys Financial Services is seeking a Database Administrator to join its Infrastructure Consulting team in Plano, TX. The role supports financial institutions by designing, deploying and maintaining cloud‑based database environments, leveraging AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, produce assessment reports and support due‑diligence on infrastructure maturity.
• Contribute to design of scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions and develop technical documentation.
• Align release schedules, execute deployments, perform post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Coordinate maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring continuity.
• Analyze performance data, provide insights for capacity planning and system optimisation.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing security measures and continuity plans.
• Gather feedback to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile
