About the role
EVgo is looking for a bright and inquisitive Data Scientist to help monitor, diagnose, and improve the health of its fast‑charging network. You will work closely with the Data Science R&D team and cross‑functional groups to turn data into actionable insights that support the growth of electric vehicle electrification.
Key responsibilities
- Develop automated ELT pipelines in Snowflake and engineer complex SQL transformations using CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and advanced joins.
- Create and curate visualizations that reveal actionable insights for operations, hardware, and software teams.
- Assemble and wrangle data from multiple sources into unified datasets ready for analysis.
- Identify, monitor, and troubleshoot technical and engineering issues using data‑driven methods.
- Learn the technical details of the EV charging business and its data sources.
- Report progress and findings to stakeholders across the organization.
Required profile
- Strong curiosity about the health of a large charger network.
- Ability to monitor problems relentlessly and drive solutions with technical experts.
- Collaborative mindset to work with hardware, software, and operations teams.
