Data Quality Analyst

About the role

CerebriOS is a software company building B2B SaaS products that help businesses make better decisions, streamline operations, and get more value from their data. We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst to ensure the data supporting our products and business operations is accurate, complete, and reliable. You will perform data validation and quality checks, investigate inconsistencies, and collaborate with Data, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve data issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular data quality checks across internal and product data.
• Identify missing, inaccurate, inconsistent, or duplicate data.
• Investigate data discrepancies and determine root causes.
• Validate data after system updates, imports, and process changes.
• Maintain data quality rules, checklists, and documentation.
• Track data quality issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Prepare reports on data quality findings and recurring issues.
• Monitor data trends and flag potential quality problems.
• Collaborate with Data, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to improve data reliability.
• Support testing and validation of new data workflows and product features.
• Recommend improvements to data processes and quality controls.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in data analysis, data quality, data operations, reporting, or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and structured data.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Organized approach to documenting and tracking issues.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• SQL
• Excel or Google Sheets (formulas and data validation)
• Familiarity with databases and basic data concepts
• Experience with BI or reporting tools
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Basic understanding of data pipelines, integrations, or APIs
