Data Product Owner – Securities Markets Technology (Capital Markets)

About the role

The Data Product Owner will join Infosys Consulting’s Financial Services practice to lead data‑driven product initiatives for securities markets. Working within a global, cross‑cultural team, you will shape the data strategy, improve user experience, and drive innovation across capital‑market solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the review and refinement of the data domain hierarchy for securities markets, normalising naming conventions and resolving overlapping categories.
• Assign each feature or dataset to a single accountable domain, document consuming processes, and define clear domain ownership and boundaries.
• Collaborate daily with business and technology stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment with client objectives.
• Drive product vision, roadmap, and delivery for data‑centric solutions, applying consulting frameworks and change‑management best practices.
• Support transformation programs, including experience design, business analysis, applied AI, and technology strategy.
• Contribute to thought leadership, branding, knowledge‑management, and sales proposal preparation.
• Ensure delivery of measurable business results and client satisfaction across engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in capital‑markets or financial services, preferably in a product‑owner or senior consulting role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex data‑domain initiatives and influence multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering transformation programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
