About the role

Join Philips as a Data Management Co‑Op in Cleveland, OH, starting January 2027. This paid internship offers hands‑on experience handling clinical data within a leading HealthTech company.

Key responsibilities

• Curate and process incoming clinical data into the company database.
• Develop software tools (e.g., scripts) for data cleaning, transformation, and preparation for scientific projects.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks to ensure data compliance and integrity.
• Organize and structure data files to improve accessibility.
• Assist with archiving or deletion of outdated data sets.
• Help create documentation and guidelines for data entry and quality processes.
• Collaborate with clinical and engineering teams to support data‑related queries and projects.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science/IT, Data Science, Analytics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and R.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of database development and organization.
