Data Center Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Join AWS Infrastructure Services to lead the sourcing and supply management of critical long‑lead equipment for data‑center construction across the Americas. You will work with a diverse team of engineers, procurement managers, and operations specialists to ensure uninterrupted delivery of high‑complexity electrical distribution systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global supply‑chain strategy for long‑lead electrical, structural, and mechanical equipment.
• Manage end‑to‑end supply‑chain operations, including supplier on‑time delivery, capacity planning, logistics, inventory, and lead‑time optimization.
• Align demand signals with supplier capacity to maintain unconstrained supply at Americas scale.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks to guarantee continuous delivery of critical equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineering, planning, delivery, and DCSP teams to synchronize requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing complex, long‑lead supply chains, preferably in data‑center or industrial environments.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret drawings, specifications, and capacity data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Technical understanding of electrical equipment and ability to analyze drawings and specifications.
• Supply chain management expertise, including supplier performance monitoring and risk mitigation.
