Data Center OFE Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and execute procurement strategies for its Data Center Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) footprint. You will own end‑to‑end sourcing for critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, partnering with engineering, construction, and third‑party vendors to ensure equipment availability and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial negotiations and Master Purchase Agreements for generators, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, chillers, cooling towers, CRAHs, and pumps.
• Audit partner procurement schedules, optimize allocation, and improve cost efficiency in constrained markets.
• Implement frameworks to ensure third‑party partners and contractors adhere to commercial terms and technical specifications.
• Develop global inventory strategy, including warehousing, third‑party logistics, buffer stock, and distribution models.
• Monitor global supply‑chain volatility and execute contingency plans to avoid project delays.
• Translate construction and capacity roadmaps into equipment forecasts and procurement pipelines.

Required profile

• 7+ years experience in supply chain management, sourcing, and procurement.
• Proven track record developing forecasting and planning processes for data‑center electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, construction management, supply chain or equivalent practical experience.
