Data Analytics Intern – Engineering & SAP Operations

About the role

Join Bosch’s Testing Engineering department as a Data Analytics Intern. You will work on modernising our hydraulic cartridge valve testing infrastructure, turning raw test data into clear visual insights that support engineering decisions and business cases.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and format high‑volume test data from acquisition software and hardware control systems.
• Design and build automated dashboards that display key performance metrics such as pass/fail rates, FPY and OEE.
• Identify trends, anomalies and bottlenecks in test results to help optimise testing throughput.
• Support the collection and formatting of historical sales data, project costs and production volumes.
• Assist in developing preliminary ROI models and create presentation slides that combine technical and commercial data for senior management.
• Track project costs against forecasts and highlight variances to department leadership.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Business Analytics, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in manufacturing and engineering data.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and business teams.
