Cybersecurity Engineer II

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer II to join our IT Security team and help protect the organization’s infrastructure. The role involves hands‑on implementation of security technologies, automation of repeatable tasks, and collaboration with architects and analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Automate and orchestrate security operations to improve efficiency.
• Own complex security tools (DLP, email security, CASB, NAC, WAF, passwordless authentication) and train analysts.
• Enhance vulnerability management, develop mitigation solutions, and research new attack vectors.
• Create metrics and reports for senior management on security effectiveness.
• Maintain optimal operation of security and identity‑management infrastructure.
• Identify, deploy, and integrate innovative security technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with network security technologies (IDS/IPS, firewalls, NAC, segmentation).
• 5+ years of overall security experience, including incident detection and response.
• Proven experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, SQL, or shell.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM/logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Syslog).
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools (nmap, Nexpose, Metasploit).
