Cyber Security Engineer – Private Equity (Hybrid, $120k‑$150k)

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join a leading global private equity firm. You will help build security from the ground up, working across multiple security functions in a modern, cloud‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and automation pipelines.
• Develop detection engineering solutions and support incident response activities.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering, Threat Intelligence, Red Team and Insider Risk teams.
• Write infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform and develop scripts in Python and PowerShell.
• Contribute to security architecture and scaling initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cyber security or related engineering roles.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud security, especially AWS and Azure.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate across multiple teams.
