Cyber Program Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Cyber Program Manager to support its U.S. Department of Energy contract. The position is based in the Washington, D.C. area and follows a 5-day, 8-hour work week. The role provides management and oversight of the Cyber Intelligence (CI) contract.

Key responsibilities

• Provide management and oversight of the Cyber Intelligence contract supporting the U.S. Department of Energy.
• Manage staffing, recruiting, retention, subcontractors, financial performance and quality assurance.
• Maintain executive customer relationships and brief senior leadership such as SES, Laboratory Directors or Flag Officers.
• Follow Amentum's safety, quality and procedure-compliance policies, including safety training, emergency response and customer satisfaction requirements.

Required profile

• 15+ years managing large federal cybersecurity, intelligence or IT modernization programs.
• 10+ years managing DOE, DoD, Intelligence Community or National Laboratory contracts.
• Experience leading programs valued at $25M-$100M+ with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience managing cybersecurity operations, engineering, cloud modernization, SOC, incident response or Zero Trust initiatives.
• Demonstrated success managing staffing, recruiting, retention, subcontractors, financial performance, quality assurance and executive customer relationships.
• Active TS/SCI or DOE Q security clearance required.

Required skills

• PMP required; CISSP strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of NIST 800-53, RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC and Zero Trust Architecture.
