Customer Service Agent – Full Time

About the role

Join American Airlines as a Customer Service Agent and become the friendly face that assists passengers throughout their travel experience. You will work in a dynamic airport environment, handling ticketing, boarding, and passenger support while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, reissue, and refund passenger tickets.
• Book, confirm, and rebook flight reservations, especially during oversold flights or irregular operations.
• Perform passenger check‑in, seat assignments, and boarding procedures, including operating gate scanners and jetways.
• Issue vouchers, coordinate hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation for affected passengers.
• Handle baggage acceptance, tagging, and credit‑card transactions at kiosks.
• Assist passengers with self‑service kiosks, special assistance needs, and unaccompanied minors.
• Make gate announcements and deliver flight documents for domestic and international flights.
• Maintain accurate timelines of boarding processes and perform on‑the‑job customer service training.

Required profile

• Reliable attendance with the ability to work mandatory overtime.
• Ability to respond to security incidents or emergencies.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.
