About the role

Noblis is recruiting innovators to support the Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate. The team advances national‑security missions by delivering cutting‑edge research, development and deployment of technologies across cybersecurity, border security, emergency response and critical‑infrastructure resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and structure system requirements for emerging security technologies.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on sensing platforms, including X‑ray, radio‑frequency, biodefense, biometrics, autonomy and systems‑of‑systems.
• Manage technology‑forward projects, focusing on process efficiency, quality management and decision analytics.
• Develop software solutions, data‑science models, cybersecurity tools and automation workflows to enhance organizational platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in one or more of the listed technical domains.
• Ability to work in a mission‑driven environment and collaborate with federal partners.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to national‑security outcomes.
