Credentialing Specialist

About the role

Clarity RCM is seeking a detail‑oriented Credentialing Specialist to manage provider enrollment, credentialing workflows, and payer setup for dermatology practices across the United States. This fully remote position supports the company’s mission to improve financial performance and patient experience for independent dermatology practices.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of credentialing for physicians and advanced practice providers, including onboarding, primary source verification, re‑credentialing, and ongoing monitoring.
• Prepare, submit, and track enrollment applications with commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid, and manage CAQH ProView attestations.
• Create and document structured workflows, trackers, and SOPs to scale the credentialing function.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve credentialing blockers and support claim resolution.
• Maintain audit‑ready provider data across CAQH, PECOS, payer portals, and internal systems.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on medical credentialing or payer enrollment experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation.
• Proactive, process‑driven mindset with excellent follow‑through.
• Ability to handle PHI and sensitive information with discretion.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CAQH and PECOS platforms.
• Experience using payer portals and credentialing software.
• Knowledge of NCQA, TJC, CMS, and standard credentialing requirements.
