Creative Director

About the role

Roblox is seeking an experienced Creative Director to shape industry‑leading creative for its immersive gaming and creation platform. This hands‑on role blends creative judgment with execution, guiding ideas from concept to compelling delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end concept development, defining creative strategy, storytelling and brand expression across digital and on‑platform content.
• Drive projects through the full production lifecycle, from concepting and art direction to final delivery.
• Experiment with and integrate AI tools to accelerate ideation, streamline production and open new ways of working.
• Build and scale creative workflows, review cadences and operational systems to enable rapid delivery.
• Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of art directors, copywriters and designers.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and business partners to ensure work is strategically grounded and on‑brand.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in creative roles, with 3–5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Portfolio demonstrating range, narrative depth and strong creative judgment across digital and traditional formats.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging creative tools, with hands‑on experience using them.
• Strong visual and art‑direction background, including animation, 3D asset generation and high‑fidelity key art.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using 3D software for asset creation and rendering.
• Hands‑on use of AI tools for ideation and production workflows.

What we offer

• Annual base salary range $230,660 – $269,570 USD.
