Corporate Pilot

About the role

Driscoll’s is seeking an experienced Corporate Pilot to operate its King Air fleet, supporting both domestic and international travel for the business. The role requires strong airmanship, especially on short and unimproved runways, and close collaboration with the Assistant Chief Pilot and Chief Pilot.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all government, industry, and company safety and operational requirements.
• Report safety issues and hazards through the Safety Management System.
• Complete thorough pre‑flight planning, including weather, aircraft performance, and airport facilities.
• Maintain required aircraft certificates, manuals, and regulatory documentation on board.
• Adhere to Part 91 and Part 135 regulations, FAR Part 61 flight experience requirements, and company SOPs.
• Participate in regular ground and simulator training to retain proficiency.
• Assist with baggage handling and passenger service as needed.
• Represent Driscoll’s professionally with growers, customers, and partners.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of aviation experience, with at least 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 hours as Pilot‑in‑Command, including 500 hours in jet or turboprop aircraft.
• 200+ hours in King Air type preferred.
• High school diploma required; additional education a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.

Required skills

• Commercial Multi‑Engine Land certification.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) license preferred.
• FAA First Class Medical certificate.
• King Air 300/350 type rating (preferred).
• Valid CA driver’s license or intent to convert.
