Corporate Paralegal – Century City

About the role

Jeffer Mangels & Mitchell LLP (JMM) is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support its attorneys in Century City. The role focuses on drafting and filing corporate formation documents, handling transactional paperwork, and providing research support for a variety of corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft governing documents such as bylaws, operating agreements, and dissolution papers for corporations, LLCs, and partnerships.
• Assist with purchase and sale transactions, including preparation of stock, membership, and partnership interest assignments.
• Collect, review, and organize due‑diligence materials for corporate matters.
• Coordinate annual, regulatory, and tax filings, and prepare gifting documents for estate‑planning clients.
• Create deeds and other property‑transfer documents.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on Secretary of State updates, informing attorneys of relevant changes.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a corporate paralegal in a law‑firm environment.
• Four‑year college degree or equivalent.
• ABA‑approved paralegal certification.

• Competitive base salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000.
• Full‑time, non‑exempt position with a hybrid work schedule (four days onsite, one day remote after the first month).
