Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller will own the financial integrity of a fast‑growing AI infrastructure company. This senior position drives technical accounting, regulatory compliance, and the financial foundation that supports capital raises and operational scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all technical accounting functions, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), asset capitalization, and complex debt/equity instruments.
• Serve as the primary authority on US GAAP compliance, develop accounting policies, and ensure consistency across multiple entities.
• Manage and develop the accounting team, setting expectations, evaluating performance, and fostering a high‑output culture.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate external auditor relationships and lead the end‑to‑end annual audit.
• Partner with legal, operations, and executive leadership on complex transactions such as project financing, M&A, and capital raises.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal controls framework (SOX‑ready) as the company scales toward a liquidity event.
• Drive implementation and optimization of financial systems to support rapid growth.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in technical accounting and US GAAP within a high‑growth environment.
• Proven leadership ability to build and manage an accounting team.
• Strong track record of managing audits, internal controls, and complex financial transactions.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with legal, operations, and executive teams.
• Comfort with fast‑paced, in‑office decision‑making environments.
