Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller works directly with the Chief Financial Officer and the Board to provide financial analysis, reporting, and operational support that strengthens financial stewardship and advances strategic objectives. This senior position oversees day‑to‑day financial operations and ensures accurate, timely information for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and distribute internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee payroll processes and coordinate with outsourced revenue‑cycle vendors for billing and collections.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for leadership.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors and manage internal audit activities.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor, evaluate, and develop the accounting and finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles.
• Proven ability to advise executive leadership and boards.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
