Core Engineering Leader

About the role

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers worldwide to lead product engineering across the full lifecycle, ensuring design integrity, robustness, quality, cost competitiveness and cross‑functional execution for the Personal Safety Division.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the division‑wide CMP portfolio, defining strategy, execution model, prioritization and performance KPIs.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards for design integrity, documentation quality, configuration management and lifecycle excellence.
• Partner with business units, BSC, suppliers and contract manufacturers to deliver core engineering capabilities such as molding, hardware design and digital components.
• Manage external development partners and suppliers against expectations for performance, quality, cost, schedule and technical delivery.
• Drive material and process standardization to improve product robustness, reduce cost and support scalable execution.
• Govern engineering documentation, change‑control practices and ensure compliance with quality expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (or higher) from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in product development, manufacturing, quality or lifecycle management, including hard‑goods, molding, hardware design or electronic components.
• 4+ years of technical leadership managing cross‑functional engineering programs, suppliers or contract manufacturers.
