About the role
This position is an unpaid contingent appointment as an adjunct basic science faculty member within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The role supports orthopaedic research by contributing expertise in experimental design and data analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with faculty and researchers on orthopaedics‑related projects.
- Develop experimental protocols and study designs.
- Perform statistical analysis and interpret research data.
- Assist in preparing manuscripts, reports, and presentations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to graduate students and research staff.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in biomedical or orthopaedic research.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
