Construction Supervisor

About the role

Veolia is seeking a Construction Supervisor to support ESCO construction projects for its Sacramento office. The role involves leading on‑site installation efforts, coordinating with customers and tenants, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, safely, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the project plan as defined by the Project Manager, ensuring compliance with schedule, plans, and specifications.
• Act as the on‑site project lead, communicating and coordinating all installation activities with customers and building tenants.
• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities, including material requests, acceptance, and crew management.
• Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan and daily/weekly look‑ahead schedules.
• Create site‑specific safety plans, integrate Veolia’s Safety Program, and ensure a safe work environment.
• Obtain necessary information from engineers, designers, inspectors, and authorities.
• Identify and resolve potential problems, schedule conflicts, or work interferences.
• Maintain daily project logs, conduct routine inspections, and keep accurate drawings and records.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of construction supervision experience.
• Proven track record of executing engineering or construction projects.
• Experience supervising large crews and managing others.
• Willingness to travel to remote project locations within the state and stay on‑site for 1–4 weeks.
