Construction Superintendent

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex, ground-up projects in the Dallas market. The role focuses on K-12 school, airport and aviation hangar construction, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout.
• Develop, maintain and drive project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field staff.
• Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Conduct daily site walks, progress tracking and quality control inspections.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and clients to resolve issues.
• Manage inspections, permits and local jurisdiction requirements.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, logs and updates.
• Identify and proactively resolve construction challenges to avoid delays.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and contract documents.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience with K-12 schools, airport facilities or aviation hangars.
• Strong background in ground-up construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing project schedules and coordinating multiple trades.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
