Construction Superintendent – Indianapolis

About the role

ServiceMaster DSI is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on‑site projects in Indianapolis. You will oversee all phases of construction and carpentry work, ensuring high‑quality results, safety compliance, and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate directly with customers throughout each project to maintain satisfaction.
• Manage and schedule carpentry crews, coordinating daily tasks and resources.
• Obtain permits, licenses, inspections, and necessary materials in a timely manner.
• Monitor project scope, time, and material specifications, reporting any discrepancies.
• Assist with change‑order estimating, approval, and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment, enforcing PPE and safety protocols.
• Review job cost reports to control labor and material expenses.
• Schedule, price, and monitor subcontractor performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction or carpentry projects.
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to read and interpret permits, inspections, and MSDS documents.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
